"Sweet Mother of . . . "
One of my co-workers shared a great kid story with us yesterday ... her sister-in-law was in the house and realized she hadn't heard from her 6 year old son in a while, so she went to check on him (he was in the garage). Just as she walked (unnoticed) into the garage, something fell. Jake's response to whatever fell? "Sweet Mother of Idaho!" Later, his dad asked him where he heard that expression. Jake replied, "there are lots of words in my head and they just have to come out, Dad!"

LOLOLOLOL!!!!! I love it! Was it one of Jamies kids? :)
That kid is going places. That's pretty sophisticated for a 6-year-old.
Actually, it was Sue Smith's nephew. The one who took a butcher knife and carved up his parents $2500 bedroom suit and received a time-out.
Carolyn, if you think THAT is sophisticated, he also used the words "alternate" and "permanently" and, when questioned, gave the correct definition for both.
He's an evil genius.
"Time out" would have a whole different meaning, such as, "10...9...8..."
