Crap

Long time, no post -- it's been a tough week (and it's only Tuesday). Dad got downsized yesterday and it sucks big time. He's the best man I know and it sucks to see him get kicked around and treated so badly by a company he's worked for for 11 years. I know without a doubt that God has something better in store for him and mom, I hate seeing them go through the struggle to get to it. Our family has been through tough times before - tougher than anyone besides the four of us will ever know - and God has always seen us through and blessed us incredibly on the other side, just as he will this time. We just have to get through the storm -- in the words of Scott Krippayne, "Sometimes He calms the storm, and other times, He calms His child" - but He never lets us go. . .
