Well, today was a pretty productive day. I slept late cleaned off my DVR, then decided to tackle my closets. Once a year or so, I clean out my closets at get rid of old clothes. Today, I rounded up 4 garbage bags of clothes to take to the Goodwill. I also found 4 blankets to take to the women's shelter when I have a chance. My biggest cuts came from my sweater collection. I am now down to approximately 25 sweaters - it may sound like a lot, but two years ago, I had 65-70 sweaters crammed into my cedar closet. I got rid of a bunch last year and about 25 today. It's a good feeling to have space in all three of my closets now! If I wanted to, I could probably get all of my stuff into two closets :-)

I also spent a couple of hours mending things that had been piling up for a while. I sewed on several buttons and repaired a few torn seems. It's also time to tackle the CDs, DVDs and books - I like to thin my collection once a year or so and sell the rest for a little extra cash. Besides, I usually need the room! Maybe that will be tomorrow's project - we'll see.
