Inside the Mind

I am a list person - I read them, I write them and I follow them. What follows here is a list of a few of my favorites!

This one NEVER fails to crack me up: Chuck Norris Facts .
Currently on the list: "Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird, " "Chuck Norris doesn't actually write books, the words assemble themselves out of fear" and "when an episode of Walker Texas Ranger was aired in France, the French surrendered to Chuck Norris just to be on the safe side."

Today, I found Cracked, the language is a bit course, but it was hysterical. I enjoyed "8 Important Lessons Learned from '80s Cartoons" immensely, as well as "As Seen on TV: The 10 Most Laughably Misleading Ads."

Here is a list of PC Magazine's 100 Favorite Blogs that will kill a few minutes.

I love Mental Floss. . . this isn't necessary a list site, but they post lists frequently.

Lastly today, this one isn't a list, but it's one of my favorite websites to visit when I'm bored. Planet Feedback is meant to be a consumer-driven service that will forward complaints to business who might otherwise not receive them. It offers the opportunity to share your letters for public comment - it seemed like a good idea at the time. Perhaps the most infamous shared letter is "Kissing at the Chili's" by a woman named Dora. It (and the resultant comments) is required reading if you have a moment or two to kill. I actually enjoy Planet Feedback quite a bit and have seen it get results for people - and it certainly changed the way I shop at Target - their return policy is by far the most frequent target (sorry) of complaints.

Enjoy!
